In the paper copy of UK's Sunday Times yesterday, there was an insert within the article of current rating of the top 10 quickest players in the world Takudzwa was on No. 1 and just below him on 2nd was Chavhanga...

Makes me want to cry of what could have been if all the current Zimbabwean players (Mtawarira and the like)turning out for other nations would have been in their own country's team.

And then there is a youngster Vinny Kakopa in Rugby League who has featured in England U16's and is touted to turn out for the seniors very soon....

It is sad. In that article, Thom Evans was also born in Zimbabwe... Imagine if we had the Evans brothers at Centre and Ngwenya and Chavhanga also on the team.

Let us not forget our speed merchants in the 7s though. Wes Mbanje has to be one of the fastest players I have ever seen, and he is a hell of a lot more powerful than Chavhanga.

We also have guys like Gerald Sibanda and Gardner Nechironga who can burn up the pitch.

We have enough home grown talent to be competitive if we can retain and condition the guys we have remaining.
