Aids or alcoholism?
Quote
The 50 year old, a legendary member of the Ilanga band, shot to prominence with the hit song ‘Mapurisa’ before a shocking decision to allow himself to be used by Zanu PF saw his career disintegrate before him.
The guitarist’s fan base dwindled in recent years mostly because of his heavy involvement in politics. For example last year in July he performed in front of 11 people at the Mannenburg Club and was visibly drunk

Quite a lot is being made out of the junk to my view. I can see kwv is already insunuating that something positive could have been genetically donated into his gene-pool from the Neanderthal's huge brain. This is more like saying because we share some huge percentage of our genome with the house fly, we might at least have some gene capacity to fly.

It's the only place where he feels like a man ....

Talented man
In Ilanga he was overshadowed by the late Don Gumbo (2 bulls in one kraal???)
But he really came into his own after going solo. Used to love going to his shows in the late 1990s
Favourite album Gondwanaland

Interesting album that one; the combination of those dance beats and his guitar, (and featuring Peace of Ebony). And also Zindoga, one of my favourite Andy Brown tracks.
