You will never get these people to admit the truth, hell they went on killing black people after independence but the majority of the black community never says a word.

The thing I have realised about these people is that they are too far gone to believe even facts; they seem to have had all reason wiped from their subconscious and replaced with propaganda.

Those figures sound credible. Where do they come from? Also on the black civilians, who were they killed by? As I said, I saw a lot that had been done in by ZANLA in the Mt Darwin area

I think most 'black' peeps are thoroughly disgusted with Mugabe and his terrorist butchers.

you can get these figure in any book about the Rhodesian Bush war/Chimurenga or Zimbabwean history, it says these figures are official, so i can assume they come from either the Zimbabwe Government or the Rhodesian Government of the time.

It however doesn't mention who killed more civilians the Rhodesians or Zanla/Zipra.

it is also important to remember that in most wars civilians are killed by both sides, whether it is intentional or not.

Are you saying that less than 2,000 'white' civilians and Rhodesian forces were killed during the struggle?

I know. Civil wars are particularly nasty. I do get upset with the mouthing-off of people who were never in the war, on either side. Those of us who were (on both sides) know it was a bad business.

I guess we will never know the real truth. I do not read books about "the war". I was in it, and I am not really interested in re-living history half a lifetime ago
