In SA's ghettos as in any other ghetto for that matter, there is no shortage of guys who just mess things up for no reason, causing fights and mostly they end up being shot dead. The message in the song resonated with everybody in SA.

Song was produced by Mdu Masilela, the Godfather. Mdu played all those instruments (keyboards of course and a few drum kits)
