Does anyone have breakdown costs of what inputs are needed for Soya Beans farming per hectare. I am looking at giving it (Soya Beans) a shot, and am sorting out my costing and projections. The land is in Chivhu and is approx 40ha. Thanks

You may wishto note that Zim requires 40000tones of soya beans against "production" of only 50000 tonnes

I meant Zim requires 400 000 (four Hundred Thousand) and not 40 000 tonnes. Sorry for the typing error

Thnx Tennyson - That's good to know. There's a contact @ the ZFU who's promised me the breakdown of the figs involved. I'll post here as soon as I have anything.

cheers

combine harvester is needed, or u may lose your crop if u decide traditional methods of harvesting wanonoka kubvisa mumunda, zvikatanga kuputika ne zuva ka :)  plus it is labor intensive, (zvinonyanya kunetsa) :(  hence why there is a shortage of growers, the capital required is 2 much. anyway i have a friend arikurima ndichmubvunza..
