1- Customer pays for car to be bought in UK. Then its shipped to Walvis Bay or Beitbridge. Customer collects car from Walvis Bay or Beitbridge and pays for his own clearance up to Zimbabwe- This is the CHEAPEST.
2) Express service- whereby Savannah Freight Services ships the car from UK to Zimbabwe. It involves employing drivers from Namibia to Zimbabwe ( A bit expensive).
What will not be possible is for us to give you the actual cost of duty at ZIMRA. Details if how ZIMRA works out your duty are on our blog here Importing cars to Zimbabwe
Please also send us your specific requirements so that I provide you with a specific answer. There is no one price fits all.
On average we ship 15-25 cars/trucks/ buses from UK to Zimbabwe every 2 weeks. We also do containers from UK to Zimbabwe and Air freight. We have a good supply of TVs, Mobile phones and computers that we air freight to Zimbabwe. Contact us for more details.
I hope this helps. If not, please still send me more questions so that I clarify.
Thanks.

Your rates seem reasonable. have looked at your site too.
Can you give me the ranges (highest and lowest) duty rates people have paid on Merc ML and a BMW X5. Both on previous models. Never mind the accessories I just want an indicative figure before I give it a go.
In addition how much do you send Toyota Hiace for?

Doing business of sending cars from UK to Zimbabwe will depend on your strategy. My advice is that you need to have a budget for your project. Options are:
1) - You look for the car you want online from safe sites like autotrader- You pay for the car directly to the seller. You then lets us collect the car for shipping to Zimbabwe.
2) - You tell us your requirements-, we purchase the car for you. You then pay us for the car and shipping ( Obviously after conducting a due diligence exercise)
3) - You send the money to a trusted source in UK, they purchase the car for you, we ship it for you.
4) - You send us the money ( After due diligence exercise), we purchase the car for you and send it.
So you choose what suites you best. Please email me more details do that I may be able to help you in this venture.
Thanks

Within your "network", do you have the ability for a UK customer to get their vehicle shipped to Zim and have the charges freight collect @ destination (i.e. @ your Zim offices) ?
I would like to send my vehicle over and make use of my funds in Zim to pay for the shipping & clearance part of the cycle.
please advise.
Thanks

Unfortunately we are not able to collect payment for UK transactions in Zimbabwe as we need to cover for all expenses here in UK prior to shipment of your car. The best way is for you to arrange with us, so that we do the purchase for you. We raise an invoice for you to pay at your local bank in Zimbabwe. We do that for the people we support to buy their cars, generators, compressors and all electrical goods. The process is very simple and does not require any special permission to transact from Zimbabwe. Please check your email I have sent you details.
Thanks
