Now i am really confused. On website called Shaunamuamba.com where she does catering/restaurant business she says she was born in the UK but raised in Jamaica and her restaurant serves Jamaican cuisine. Is she really Zimbabwean

ABOUT SHAUNA
        Posted Image

Shauna was born of Afro-Caribbean parents in Leamington Spa near  coventry in the UK. She moved to the friendly rural village of Denbigh,  Clarendon in Jamaica when she was just 8 years old. Shauna was taught to  cook by her grandmother, and showed an immediate interest in the local  cuisine. Growing up, food was always an important part of the family as  her grandmother won may awards from the Jamaican Culinary Art  Competition. This ignited an interest which grew into a passion for  Shauna as she honed her skills and immersed herself in Jamaican cuisine.  This invaluable schooling shows through in the authenticity of Shauna’s  food today. Upon moving back to the UK when she was 18 she attended  Birmingham City University to study media and communication, obtaining a  BA honours and a Masters in Media Enterprise whilst still maintaining  her food interests and cooking for family and friends.

Shauna met her partner Fabrice Muamba in Birmingham, a short while  later and they now have a beautiful son called Joshua, she’s now a full  time housewife and has gone back to her passion of cooking, resulting in  the inception of Shauna Muamba Fine Jamacian Cuisine.

I have no idea maybe it's the same Jamelia story, abandoned by Zim dad so you don't acknowledge that side of your family?

I think we migrated from Congo via Cameroon area according to historians so no surprise there.

I agree with GAD that he seems to be one of the smarter premiership players (Makelele did accounts I think) and he seems to have lived a quiet life.

But in addition, many of the African players actually do have black or African wives/girlfriends. The reason you dont hear about this is because black women are not showbiz enough for the British press unless you are Alexandra Burke who is rolling with Defoe at the moment

Two things impress me about this Fabrice compared to other black Premiership footballers

Firstly dating and getting engaged to a black woman unlike others who see white girfriends/wives as status symbols (practically all black English footballers and most of the Francophone ones as well - Drogba a notable exception)

Secondly the fact that his fiance is a graduate (of Birmingham University) where others would have gone for a model or pop star or reality show star

But the guy is no dumbass himself. 10 O'levels. 3 A Levels in Maths, French and English. And was studying accounting part time

But the question is, do they speak any African languages?  If they just speak French or English to their children then it will be very tempting to call them sell-outs...not that I am necessarily calling them sell-outs, but there might be some who would.
THE SO-CALLED STATE OF ISRAEL IS AN ILLEGAL, ILLEGITIMATE, RACIST, FACIST, EVIL, NAZI, DEVILISH STATE THAT WILL NEVER BE RECOGNISED BY FREEDOM LOVING PEOPLE OF THE WORLD.  THE INDIGENOUS PALESTINIANS HAVE ALL BEEN FORCED INTO CONCENTRATION CAMPS BY THE EVIL ZIONISTS.  AS AFRICANS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE EVILS OF COLONIALISM AND APARTHEID, WE FULLY SUPPORT THE BRAVE STRUGGLE OF THE PALESTINIANS AGAINST THE ZIONIST ENTITY.

Fabrice Muamba's devastated fiancée this morning told fans that he would "pull through" as the player continued to fight for his life.

It came as the London Chest Hospital issued a statement regarding the 23-year-old Bolton midfielder's condition saying: "Fabrice Muamba's heart condition is stable but he remains critically ill in intensive care."

Shauna Magunda tweeted the message as she remained at her husband's bedside following his cardiac arrest during an FA Cup tie against Spurs at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

She also sent a poignant message to her husband telling him to "keep strong".

She tweeted: "Fabrice WILL!! Pull through because God is good. Love u so much @fmuamba keep strong we're praying for u honey xx."

Earlier she had urged fans to pray as she waited by his bedside telling them: "God is in control. Please keep @fmuamba in ur prayers xx."

She later tweeted: "Please keep praying for @fmuamba its really helping I can feel it xx" before adding: "For all your messages of love thank u so much. Where there is life there is hope xx."

Shauna, the mother of Muamba’s three-year-old son Joshua Jeremiah, joined the player’s father and sister at the London Chest Hospital in Bethnal Green, East London. He had proposed to her on Valentine’s Day.

The former England under-21 star’s heart stopped for two hours before desperate medics could restart it.

Players and fans at the stadium looked visibly distraught as medical staff tried to resuscitate Muamba on the grass. Paramedics are said to have shocked him five times with a defibrillator on the pitch, in the ambulance and at the hospital. The game, abandoned at 1-1, was also watched by millions of stunned TV viewers on ESPN.

Bolton boss Owen Coyle said at the hospital last night: “All our thoughts and prayers are for Fabrice and his family at this time. Fabrice is critically ill.

“The next 24 hours are going to be absolutely crucial. It’s very serious. There’s no getting away from that. God willing, he makes it through. All our energy is going into, hopefully, a happy outcome. It’s great to be talented at football but it is more important to be a genuinely nice man and Fabrice is that. Everybody is praying for him which is important and that has been a real source of strength to the family.”

Fans arrived at the hospital with messages of goodwill for Congo-born Muamba. Two children left drawings and flowers were placed on the doorstep. There were also bouquets, shirts and scarves left at Bolton’s Reebok stadium.

One message written on a card with a Manchester United emblem read: “Our thoughts and prayers are with you. One game, one family.” A Bolton flag carried the message: “Just get back to full health. Praying for you.”

Fan Chris Scott said: “We can only hope, keep our hopes up, that he is going to be okay. We were just in shock for three or four hours last night. Football doesn’t matter when something like this happens. Hopefully he’ll pull through.”

Fellow supporter David Mulvaney added: “We were all in the pub watching the game and it just went so quiet. Fabrice is such a popular player. Always had a smile on his face. We all feel for him.”

A string of players including Rio Ferdinand, Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie tweeted messages of support.

Hope: Gary Cahill after scoring yesterday

At yesterday’s Premier League clash between Wolves and Manchester United, fans and players showed their support with a minute’s applause. During Chelsea’s FA Cup match against Leicester, former Bolton star Gary Cahill revealed a “Pray for Muamba” T-shirt after he scored.

Bolton captain Kevin Davies, who went to hospital with his stricken team-mate and Coyle, said he was “digging in”.

Former assistant manager Phil Brown, who saw Muamba collapse, said: “It’s very hard to believe what you’re seeing. There are a lot of religious players and to see them all crouching down and dropping to their knees and praying was shocking.”

As it became apparent how grave Muamba’s situation was, fans from both sides began chanting his name. Spurs manager Harry Redknapp said: “All our thoughts are with Fabrice. It was right to abandon the game. Everybody was in a state of shock.”

Chairman Daniel Levy added: “We are proud and grateful to the medical teams at both clubs. Our thanks also to both sets of fans for their support and behaviour.

“Too often we read the negatives about football yet here we saw the true humanity and empathy of the footballing family.”

Muamba was anaesthetised to help doctors in their bid to save him.

A statement by the hospital and Bolton said: “Fabrice remains in a critical condition. He sustained a cardiac arrest on the pitch. Fabrice received prolonged resuscitation at the ground and en route to the hospital where his heart eventually started working. As is normal practice, Fabrice remains anaesthetised in intensive care and will be for at least 24 hours.”

Bolton’s fixture against Aston Villa tomorrow has been called off.

A Twitter troll was yesterday arrested in Swansea after posting sick racist tweets about Muamba.

- KILMARNOCK star Liam Kelly’s dad Jack collapsed and died watching his 22-year-old son’s team beat Celtic 1-0 to lift the Scottish Communities League Cup for the first time in its history.
