For a championship player the Hype this kid is generating is just crazy. In some quarters he is being mentioned in the same breath as Messi and Ronaldo. I really hope he lives up to all the hype otherwise the English media will be quick to tear him down.
Whether he decides to commit to England or the Ivory Coast I wish him all the best.

never seen him in action but before even checking who he is, i suspected that he must be some form of winger like lennon, SWP and co, and yes it looks so.
Thats all that seems to come out of England, Sturridge , and now this young one Raheem Stirling of Liverpool.
But from what ive seen, Raheem looks good for a 17yr old.

I laugh when people try to compare up and coming talent to Leo Messi. Messi is a once in a lifetime talent....like Maradona , Pele et al. Messi is a Schumacher,Einstein, Buffet, Gates type of persona.
Im not a fan of Barcelona but I give credit where its due. This guy makes it look way too easy and hence the incredulity of the masses. Everyone believes they can do what he is doing. Good luck. That guy is something else. Time we all took and chill pill and let the man do what he does and stop comparing. Honestly.

That would be a TERRIBLE IDEA!!
Once you step into politics, immediately half of the population will hate you!
That would be the begginning of the end of Drogba!

I doubt that, Drogba has already shown loads of influence with both sides...
I am sure he will win elections as an independent candidate

Politics is a different ball game, Ivorian politicians from after the deat of FHB have been going all out to win and in many cases using the military and militias. Weah was in a good situation after the Charles Taylor departed from the scene as there were not that many entrenched interests that could have built up some political infrastructure. CIV still has militias left over from that struggle and there is a good chance that in the event of a contentious election they will be reactivated.
